1. Discussion Items:

Watched video from Sally Ramos regarding the Gawad Kalinga Project in Iloilo, Philippines.

The FAAGFW Christmas party went well, about 125 guest showed up in the party.

Nick identified the Board of the Directors:

Carol Yuson, Melly Manalang, Lorna Roscetti

Ping Velasco, Joe Velasque, Sherie Clark, Reggie Delarosa

Voted by majority- current Secretary and Treasurer be retained in office until further guidance by BOD in the future.

Nick will likely start transitioning the obligation of president to the Board of Directors.

GENERAL MINUTES MEETING - OCTOBER 25, 2008 @ 3:00 PM.

We discussed the last minutes meeting.

Treasurer Report: Ruben Rivera

President"s Agenda:

6 monts to end of term.

This is the 3rd to the General Meeting.

1. Update membersship roster.

We need to recruit more members to join the FAAGFW.

2. Follow up carwash tickets.

3. Update Fall Festival. It was a success.

4. Christmas Party:

Date: December 14, 2008

Time: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

Price: $18.00 per head for adults and children

Place: Muckelshoot Casino, Chinook Banquet Ball Room.

We will sale FAAGFW T shirts at the christmas party. Solicit new member.

Bring new renewal application form.

5. EIE APPLICATION

EIE awards will be given at the Christmas Party.

6. Transition of Governing Body.

Kuya Larry Silvestre will be leaving the Board next term.

We have 2 new Board of Directors members. They are

Sherry Clark and Reggie Delarosa.

The current Board of Directors consist:

Amy Vince Cruz, Mely Manalang, Lorna Roscetti, Ping Velasco, and Carol Yuson.

At the next meeting we are going to discuss if we are going to amend the Treasurer and Secretary positions.

7. Audits and Book: It will be discuss at the next meeting.

8. Storming Activities and Donations:

- We are going to Adopt a Family. ate Amy will find a Family from Federal Way that we can adopt.

- Simbang Gabi will held at ST. Therese Parish Church in Federal Way. Date, time and directions to the church will

will posted soon.

- The next Simbang Gabi Choir practice is on November 7, 2008 @ 6:30 pm at the Panlasigui residence.

9. We also discussed the change of the By Laws.

Spring Dance April 26, 2008 at the Muckleshoot Casino. We will discuss the Spring Dance

at the Boarf Meeting on Sunday January 27, 2008 at the Tabile residence.

Community Activities:

The Boeing Global Corporate Citizenship is sponsoring the Martin Luther King Jr.

Community Service next month.Romy is looking for volunteers if you want to participate.

we make a basket of any theeme for the auction.

Amy Vince Cruz mentioned that we start locally doing any funtctions by donating to the

Multi Service Center of Federal Way. The Board agreed that we donate wahtever we make

for the Spring Dance. Net proceeds will go to the Multi Service Center of Federal Way.

We discussed about the Revision of Bylaw.

Joe Velasquez suggested the Operation Give a Hug. This is to provide military children a way to

hug their diployed parents until they can do it for real.
