I. MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Chairperson: MELY MANALANG & ROMEO TABILE

The Membership committee shall receive and act on all applications for the membership in the Association. This committee shall be responsible for all the recruitment of members and for welcoming and introduction of new members.

The Telenetworking, composed of assigned Officer members, shall provide the services of contacting the members through telephone of special events and information not provided otherwise that need to be urgently disseminated to its members. The committee chair shall be responsible for the response follow-up of the Officer’s calls only.

The Reminder Mailing cards is primarily for the notification of the general members of all upcoming events and this committee shall be responsible for the timely mailing of the information.
 

II. FINANCE and BUDGET COMMITTEE

Chairperson: RUBEN RIVERA

The Finance committee is responsible for managing fundraising events with which to finance and make feasible a study of any proposed project, venture or undertaking of the Association. This committee shall render a report of such study to the Board of Officers for final action. assist the treasurer in the collection of assessment and dues from the members and also coordinate with other committees in connection with any project, activity or undertaking of the Association.

Shall manage and coordinate special events known as approved events and/or fundraising events of the Association including all related activities in its entirety. These endeavors shall be coordinated with the Finance / Planning committees. These events include the main annual or biannual events specifically during each administration: Induction Ball, Hoyt Road Cleanup, FAAGFW picnic, the FAAGFW Christmas caroling and the FAAGFW Children’s Christmas Party. These endeavors shall be coordinated with the Finance / Planning committees.

III. EDUCATION/EIE COMMITTEE

Chairperson:  NICK PANLASIGUI & MARILEI AMURAO-TABILE

The Education committee shall draft the rules governing the awarding of academic scholarship to deserving student-members taking into account the "means and merit" evaluations for the approval by the Board of Officers; and shall make a continuing study of such rules. The committee shall coordinate with the Finance and Planning committees in acting upon any proposed scholarship grant and submit its recommendations to the Board of Officers for final action. This committee shall also initiate such programs, seminars and/or conferences on any subject of general interest which will increase the general knowledge of the members and/or contribute to their spiritual and moral development; and for this purpose, it shall coordinate with the Finance and Planning committees. The committee will also coordinate the Excellence In Education (EIE) Award ceremonies.

IV. ELECTION COMMITTEE

Chairperson: Open

The Election committee shall be responsible for administering the election rules as stated in the By-laws. The committee is to solicit and present a list of all nominees to be elected as officers of the Association, the primary consideration of which is to provide the Association with competent leadership. The committee must obtain from each nominee his/her consent to serve as officer, making sure he/she understands all the duties and responsibilities of the office to which he/she is being nominated.

V. COMMUNITY SERVICE LIAISON COMMITTEE

Chairperson: LARRY SILVESTRE

The Community Service Liaison committee shall be cognizant of community issues affecting the Association and its members and shall be responsible for studying, following through and reporting such issue(s) to the Board of Officers for final action. The committee shall also establish a network of human information and opportunities for the benefit of the members.

VII. PLANNING COMMITTEE

Chairperson: LARRY SILVESTRE & JOE VELASQUEZ

The Planning committee is responsible for making feasibility or project study of any proposed project , venture or undertaking of the Association and write a report of such study to the Board of Officers for final action. Assist and coordinate with other committee involved in any proposed activity, venture or undertaking.

VIII. FAYA

Chairperson: CINDY PANLASIGUI, & MARILEI AMURAO-TABILE

The FAYA committee shall coordinate activities and adopt a program that would encourage sons and daughters of FAAGFW members to become involved in our social, cultural and civic programs within our Association and the community.
